How do I switch to Hakuna Plus?
You only need to fill in your payment information to switch to Hakuna Plus. After Hakuna accepted your request to switch to Hakuna Plus, you will be able to add all the products you want to protect to your Hakuna Plus profile.
Which products can be added to Hakuna Plus?
Products from the categories consumer electronics, bikes & e-bikes, household appliances, DIY tools, jewellery & watches, sports & outdoor equipment and clothing can be added to Hakuna Plus. Price and purchase date of the product do not play a role.
Can I add or change the products in Hakuna Plus? 
Yes, you can add new products to your Hakuna Plus at any time. When you reached your limit of 20 products you can exchange protected products whenever you want.  
When & how can I cancel Hakuna Plus?
With Hakuna Plus you are protected as long as you want to be protected. After a minimum term of 12 months you can cancel every month. An E-mail is sufficient to end your protection.
What is covered in Hakuna Plus?
For all products in the Hakuna Plus plan we will cover for production, construction or material defects after statutory warranty, accidental damages and theft.
Are there any limitations for claims?
We will cover the costs for repair or replacement of up to 2000€ per incident. There is no limit on how many incidents to report to Hakuna. For every claim there is a deductible of 29.99€.
How can I report a claim?
You can report a claim directly via chatbot or E-mail to our customer support team.
